Processing Time
Digital Products & Services: Items such as personalized I Ching readings, digital downloads, and other non-physical services are delivered electronically via email within 2 business days. No shipping fees apply to digital products or services. You will receive a confirmation email with details about your reading or digital product delivery.
Standard Items: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). Each item is carefully inspected and packaged to ensure safe delivery.
Large/Freight Items: Items requiring freight shipping (such as furniture) may take 3-5 business days to process as they require specialized packaging, including custom crating or palletizing when necessary to ensure safe transit.
Please note that processing time begins after payment is received and, for freight items, after you have received and approved your shipping quote.
Shipping Methods and Rates
We ship via USPS and UPS within the United States. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected shipping method.
For large or heavy items (such as furniture), freight shipping is required and costs vary significantly by location. A placeholder shipping rate of $300 will appear at checkout for these items. Please request a shipping quote before purchasing to receive an accurate freight shipping cost for your area.
Delivery Timeframes
- Standard Shipping (USPS): 3-7 business days after shipment
- Expedited Shipping (UPS): 2-3 business days after shipment
- Freight Shipping: 5-10 business days after shipment (varies by carrier and location)
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship to addresses within the United States only. We do not ship to P.O. boxes for large or fragile items.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information so you can monitor your package's progress.
Packaging
All items are carefully packaged with appropriate cushioning materials to protect them during transit. Vintage and fragile items receive extra care and packaging to ensure safe delivery.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@curiouspickings.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date (for lost packages) or within 24 hours of delivery (for damaged items).
